ISD 181 students are high achieving learners who graduate well prepared to meet the challenges and high expectations of the 21st century.  All students participate in rigorous curriculum and high-quality opportunities for self-directed personal growth supported by a comprehensive school counseling program that facilitates strategic partnerships between the school, family, and community.  As successful, life-long learners and productive citizens, our students achieve their fullest potential, making a positive difference in our school and community.

ISD 181 School Counselor Mission
The mission of the ISD 181 School Counseling Program is to provide all students with a comprehensive school counseling program that encourages the highest level of student achievement through their growth in academic, career, and personal/social domains.  In partnership with teachers, administrators, parents, and caring community, the school counselors will help all students be successful life-long learners and problem-solvers.

Why High School Counselors?
Brainerd High School Counselors are professional educators with advanced training in counseling and are equipped to handle difficult challenges that high school students face today. They are an integral part of the educational program and work with classroom teachers, administrators, community partners, students, and parents. They provide proactive leadership that engages all stakeholders in the delivery of programs and services to assist all students achieve success in school. At Brainerd High School, the counseling department aligns itself with the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) model and uses its framework to deliver school counseling programming. The ASCA model includes the academic, personal/social, and college/career planning domains. School counselors use data to drive programming and decision making.

Order Credentials from Parchment

Students who are looking for unofficial transcripts for scholarships, insurance, etc, can sign into their Skyward account and open Student Access (on the upper right hand side of the screen). Click on Portfolio (from the left hand menu). Look for the file that says Transcript, and has the most current date, click on view report. There should be a button on this page to print also.

Official Transcripts
is an online record request service that Brainerd High School uses to streamline the process of sending out official transcripts and records to verify graduation and grades to colleges, employers, insurance companies, scholarships, etc. The cost associated with each transcript requested for alumni is $6.00 payable at the time of your request. Current students will not be charged for this service. 

Please be aware that when ordering through Parchment your request may take 2-5 business days depending on availability and activity of all requests. During high demand; end of semester, end of school year, etc. this process may take longer.
