ACCUPLACER

The Accuplacer provides students information relating to basic reading and math skills. There are no specific scores required to be admitted to the CIS program, however, some courses require a certain score for registration purposes.

ACT

The ACT is a standardized test to assess college readiness and high school achievement. Most colleges use it as an entrance exam to make admissions decisions. The ACT is used typically in the western half of the country.

ASVAB

PSAT/MNSQT

The Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT) is a test given to sophomores and juniors to help determine their level of college readiness, in addition to giving them feedback on how to best prepare for the ACT and SAT should they desire to take it.

SAT

The SAT is similar to the ACT but is used primarily on the eastern half of the country.
