GENERAL INFORMATION

SCHOOL PICTURES!  Pictures will be taken TODAY, Friday, Sept. 14.  Packets have been handed out.  Save time and order online and also receive a free 8x8 photo book from Shutterfly.  Use Picture Day ID: MI548008Y0. Pick up a packet in the Media Center if you don’t have one.  PSEO students can come any time from 8:00-3:30.


TAKE THE WHEEL!  Ask your parents and adult friends/relatives to take a FREE Ford test drive on Saturday, Sept. 15 at Mills Ford and BHS earns $20 donation from Ford.  Drivers must be 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license. Let’s do this!


SPANISH CLUB will have its first meeting of the year this coming Tuesday, Sept. 18th in Room A124 at 7:45 am.  We will elect officers and make plans for fun events. All students are welcome!

This service club whose motto is "service above self" will meet on Thursday mornings in Mrs. Litzinger's room, A242, at 7:55 am. Bring a friend, grab a donut, and learn about the service projects you could be a part of.


LIKE US ON FACEBOOK!  Look for Brainerd High School and our Warrior.  Stay up to date on special events and see pictures and videos from pep fests, etc.  With homecoming coming up, don’t miss out!

GENERAL INFORMATION

FRESHMEN CABINET will be meeting every Thursday 7:45-8:15 am beginning September 13 in Ms. Marcelo’s Room SC #800. Come join us to help prepare for Homecoming Pepfest, Homecoming Parade, and Lunch Jam! You won't want to miss a chance to contribute to your class.

GENERAL INFORMATION

PLEASE CONGRATULATE Mason Malone, Boys Soccer, as Athlete of the Week!


SCHOOL PICTURES!  Pictures will be taken next Friday, Sept. 14.  Packets will be handed out soon!


DEBATERS - Practice will begin on Thursday, September 6th in the library at South Campus.  The resolutions for September and October can be found on the NSDA website.  Practices will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.


COME AUDITION for the mystery comedy A-Haunting We Will Go! We need actors and tech crew members.  Get an audition packet outside the Little Theatre stage door, or from Ms. J at South Campus.  Auditions will be after school on Tuesday, September 11 and Wednesday, September 12.


THE NOBEL SCIENCE CONFERENCE is Tues., Oct. 2 and Wed., Oct. 3.  The topic this year is "Living Soil: A World Underfoot”.  Applications can be picked up from any science teacher or from Ms. Worm at South Campus. The deadline to apply is Thursday, Sept. 20.  Please see Ms. Klecatsky in Room A-222 with questions.

TEXTBOOKS:  Students, when you receive your class textbooks this week, please look them over carefully.  Report any undocumented damage to Ms. Lively in the Media Center this week.  Please do not wait, it will be too late.  Thank you.


DRIVERS ED Classes will begin on Monday, Sept. 10 at 3:30 in Room 101 at the South Campus.  Register online at (isd181.org -Community Education - youth driver education).  Call Community Ed if you have questions (454-6924).

GENERAL INFORMATION

GRADUATION LIVE STREAMED!  Do you have a relative who can’t make it to graduation?  Check out our live stream at isd181.org and have them join in the fun!  Also showing on CTC TV channels 8 & 15 and Charter TV channels 181 & 189.

 

STUDENTS:  Please do not park in yellow lined parking spaces in the senior lot.  These are staff slots. If you do park in one of these slots, you will be asked to move your vehicle.  Thank you for your cooperation.

 

STUDENTS..... A Minnesota boat safety water course is being offered on North Long Lake on Wednesday, June 20th to students age 12-17.  Class size is limited to 25 participants.  Registration is from 8:30-9:00 at Northern Cowboy’s Restaurant located on Hwy 371.  Contact Anita to register at 763-245-4741.

 

DUMPSTER DIVERSION: Cleaning out your locker?  Don't throw everything away! Tables will be available Thursday and Friday next week for you to leave new and reusable school supplies for items such as pencils, pens, notebooks, and binders.  Jr. Class Cabinet and EcoClub will sort and save these items for future students. Thank you for your help!

 

ALL STUDENTS:  Please check your Skyward Family Access and Food Service account for outstanding balances.  This may be music, sports or textbooks fees. Just go to your Family Access and click on the Fee Management tab or the Food Service tab.  Payments can be made online or with Shelly at the window by the main office.

 

GRADBLAST:  We need volunteers!  Please ask your parents, aunts or uncles to donate a little bit of their time to help make sure our students are able to enjoy their last night together as the BHS Class of 2018!!
